Job Description

Technical / Solution Sales

■ Work Type: Full-time employee

■ Location: Solda City, Saitama Prefecture (Nearest station: JR Station)

■ Reports to: Sales General Manager (Sales Manager)

■ Key Responsibilities


⚫ Sales proposals for measuring systems usingown products (data loggers)and sensors from other companies.

⚫ Responding to existing customers and developing new customers.

⚫ Hearing customer needs and identifying issues.

⚫ Propose measurement system proposals and prepare sales floor displays.

⚫ Preparation of proposals and documents.

⚫ Business meetings (in person and online)


⚫ Responding to projects for public offices, universities and research institutes

⚫ Promote infrastructure and environmental observation projects

⚫ Coordination of contracts, deadlines and specifications


⚫ Proposal development in collaboration with technical support engineers

⚫ Liaison with the USheadquarters (Logan, Utah, US)viae-mail and Teams

⚫ Coordination between customers and the company


⚫ Documentation

⚫ Market development activities

⚫ Support for exhibitions and academic meetings

⚫ Web editing work

⚫ Light work such as on-site installation may be included■ Education and Support System

On-the-job training at theLogan headquarters in the U.S.

⚫ Training atLogan, Utah, US, depending on the situation.

⚫ Understanding of products (data loggers and sensors)

⚫ Fundamentals of measurement system construction

⚫ Understanding of applications (weather, environment, infrastructure, etc.)

⚫ Training using actual equipment


⚫ Technical collaboration with engineers in the U.S.

⚫ Technical support in English

⚫ Continuous information sharing with global team

■ Ideal Candidate Profile

⚫ Sales experience (any industry)

⚫ Able to read English user manuals and respond to emails

⚫ Able to speak English or willing to learn English

⚫ Sales or handling experience of mechanical or electronic equipment

⚫ Interested in natural environment and electrical equipment

⚫ Handling customer calls and meetings

⚫ Able to travel domestically and internationally

⚫ Able to understand customer needs and make proposals proactively

⚫ Knowledge of networking (preferred)

⚫ Acting as a person who is interested in data loggers, sensors, measurement, and electric circuits and is willing to

learn

⚫ The one who can act proactively without being passive.

⚫ Able to work flexibly in a small organization

■ Software and tools used(example)

⚫ Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)

⚫ Data logger support software

⚫ Simple data analysis (e.g. Excel)

⚫ Image editing software

■ Terms and Conditions

Working days and hours: 5week , flexible(10h00-15h00 core time), full time40 hoursper week .

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and skills

Work Location: Toda City, Saitama Prefecture

(Nearest station: JR Station)Travel: Domestic and

required)
