Your day to day

In your role as a Solutions Architect, you will:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient payment solutions, ensuring seamless PayPal integration for partners and merchants.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions that drive adoption and optimize payment performance.
• Engage directly with partners and merchants, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting complex integration challenges, and ensuring a smooth go-live experience.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and PayPal's evolving technology stack, leveraging APIs, SDKs, and cloud-based architectures to enhance payment capabilities.
• Support go-to-market initiatives, contributing to technical documentation, best practices, and enablement programs to empower internal teams and external stakeholders.

What do you need to bring-

• Total 4 to 8 years of experience in IT with 5+ years in Solutions Engineering.
• Strong technical hands on expertise in payment integrations, APIs, and web technologies, with experience in RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth, and Webhooks and mobile technology.
• Proven experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, or pre-sales engineering within the payments, fintech, or e-commerce industry.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex integration challenges and ensuring seamless go-live experiences.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to drive successful implementations.
