Accountabilities

Key activities Overall goals / Typical measures Job Description

• Understand customer supply chain requirements by liaising with customers and business development teams.

• Analyze and design logistics and warehousing solutions for new business and operational improvements.

• Collect and analyze data related to logistics and warehousing operations.

• Use software tools to develop, model, and evaluate solution options.

• Prepare and present solution proposals to customers; participate in presentations as needed.

• Manage consultancy projects and provide guidance on complex solution designs.

• Collaborate with line managers, operations, and business development teams before submitting solutions.

• Maintain and update knowledge management documents based on project experience.

• Promote best practices and continuous improvement within the team.

• Act as the internal expert for logistics and warehousing solutions.

• Ensure solutions and implementation plans meet all requirements and gain necessary approvals.

• Provide administrative support to business development and solutions teams.

• Report monthly on relevant information for development team meetings.

• Develop and maintain databases related to property, equipment, costs, and other solution data.

• This role involves travel to client sites and project locations to support solution design and implementation activities

• Achieve renewals and new business through solutions team efforts.

• Ensure customer satisfaction and gather feedback.

• Deliver projects successfully and on time.

• Respond to customer timelines promptly.

• Document solutions clearly.

• Implement solutions effectively.

Skills / Qualifications

Key capabilities / Competencies :-

• Knowledge of warehousing and broader supply chain topics

• Strong Knowledge of the Logistics Business

• Advanced Computer Proficiency

• Understanding of modeling/simulation/AutoCAD tools

• Know-how of process flow diagrams, time & motion studies

• Particular Expected years of experience (Minimum)

• 2 to 3 years logistics solution design experience and/or

• 1 years logistics operations management in warehousing or transport

• 2 Year's Experience in Project mgmt. Expected Educational Qualifications

• Degree in relevant discipline (engineering degree preferred)
