Calix is scaling the way we bring our products to life through interactive, webbased demos developed on the Walnut platform. As we continue to expand our platform, this role will own demo creation, maintenance, and governance to ensure every demo reflects the latest Calix innovation and delivers a consistent, highquality experience.
The Solution Demo Specialist will own the endtoend lifecycle of Calix Walnut demos from creation and updates to release alignment and ongoing relevancy. This role serves as the execution arm for Product Marketing, translating scripted briefs into polished, interactive demos that support sales, events, and customer engagement.
This role is a critical enabler of Calix's gotomarket motion and will work crossfunctionally with Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, Corporate Marketing and Sales.
What You'll Do
Demo Ownership & Execution
- Own the creation, maintenance, and updates of all Calix solution demos, including both:
- Unguided demos (chooseyourownjourney product environments), and
- Guided demos that highlight specific features or release innovations
- Execute demo updates in alignment with monthly product releases, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and visual consistency across the demo library
- Maintain a sustainable demo portfolio by updating, refreshing, or sunsetting guided demos based on release relevance and agreed lifecycle guidelines
Product Marketing Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product and Solutions Marketing owners to translate their demo briefs into highquality Walnut demos and route completed work back to Product Marketing for review and approval prior to release
Release & Event Support
- Support major Calix moments including conferences, product launches, and field enablement events by preparing tailored Walnut demo experiences as needed
- Ensure demo readiness for both liveguided presentations and selfserve viewing scenarios when required
Process & Governance
- Develop, follow and help reinforce the defined Walnut intake and execution process in partnership with Product Marketing
- Ensure demos evolve alongside Calix releases, while avoiding demo sprawl by managing scope and lifecycle intentionally
Enablement & Platform Expertise
- Become a Walnut platform expert, completing formal Walnut training and leveraging Walnut customer success resources for best practices and advanced capabilities
- Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for demorelated questions and execution guidance

Engineering Degree Preferred
