About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, tech-savvy, and strategic Solution Consultant to join our Solution Consulting team, focusing specifically on our rapidly growing EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific) markets.

As a Solution Consultant, you will be the trusted advisor and technical bridge between our prospective customers and our product across diverse geographies. You will report to the respective Regional Manager of Solution Consulting and partner closely with Regional Account Executives to deeply understand customer pain points, architect tailored solutions, and deliver compelling, value-driven product demonstrations. Because this role supports a wide international footprint, it requires a high degree of adaptability and the flexibility to align with shifting time zones to support clients.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Global Strategic Discovery: Partner with Account Executives across EMEA and APAC to lead technical discovery sessions. Uncover deep operational bottlenecks in prospects response workflows while navigating diverse regional business practices and compliance standards.
  • Value-Based Demonstrations: Design and deliver highly customized, compelling product demonstrations. Showcase how Responsive's capabilities solve specific customer challenges.
  • Technical Validation: Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert during the sales cycle. Address inquiries regarding security posture, data privacy, integrations, API capabilities and enterprise architecture.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC) Management: Scope, design, and execute targeted PoCs or pilot programs end-to-end, ensuring clear success criteria are defined and met for global stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the voice of the international customer. Relay regional market trends, localization requests, and technical feedback to the Product and Engineering teams to influence the global product roadmap.

Education

Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

Experience

3 - 5 years of experience in a Presales, Solution Consulting, or Sales Engineering role within the B2B Enterprise SaaS space.

Knowledge, Ability & Skills

  • Communication: Strong presentation and storytelling skills. Ability to translate highly technical concepts into clear, business-value-driven narratives for C-level executives, end-users, and IT administrators across different fluency levels.
  • Technical Acumen: Alignment with the latest tech trends and a good understanding of modern web architectures, cloud security concepts, and enterprise integration platforms (hands-on experience configuring or demonstrating integrations with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or SharePoint). Comfortable working with office productivity & collaboration tools.
  • Agentic AI & Prompt Engineering: Familiarity with Generative AI applications and concepts in SaaS (LLMs, prompt optimization, AI-driven knowledge management, agentic workflows) and how regional data sovereignty laws impact their adoption.
  • End-to-End RFP Lifecycle: Prior experience with RFP/RFI Response Management, Proposal Management, or specialized knowledge management tools. Experience handling government/federal RFP lifecycles is an added advantage.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of partnering and supporting sales teams in the EMEA and/or APAC regions. Good understanding of cultural nuances in B2B buying behavior to drive complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals to closure using methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
