Solution Consultant

Job Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions covering infrastructure, applications, and security requirements.
• Own end-to-end solution design for cloud, Kubernetes, DR, and security use cases.
• Design architectures on AceCloud OpenStack and AWS (preferred) with security-by-design principles.
• Position VM vs container-based architectures with appropriate security controls.
• Incorporate network security, IAM, encryption, and compliance considerations into designs.
• Prepare HLDs, LLDs, BOMs, proposals, SoWs, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Support secure POCs, demos, and customer walkthroughs.
• Work closely with sales, security, and delivery teams to ensure clean handover.

Required Skills

• Strong working knowledge of OpenStack.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, security groups, networking basics).
• Good understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals (deployments, ingress, HA concepts).
• Familiarity with Docker and microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of cloud security fundamentals, including:
• IAM and access controls.
• Network segmentation and firewalls.
• Encryption at rest and in transit.
• Security logging and monitoring basics.
• Exposure to backup, DR, and ransomware protection concepts.
• Working knowledge of Terraform / IaC concepts (preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 58 years in solution consulting, presales, or cloud architecture roles.
• Cloud or security certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Security+).
• Experience with cloud security tools (WAF, SIEM/SOC, endpoint security, vulnerability management).
• Exposure to compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA basic understanding).
• Experience with GPU or AI/ML workloads (plus).
