The role of the Solution Consultant is essential to helping Chargebee achieve our mission by providing subscription consulting expertise, designing effective subscription billing and revenue management solutions, and supporting our customers growth goals and business outcomes through the use of our powerful platform.
Role Overview:
Chargebee is looking for an exceptional Solution Consultant in the NAMER Startup segment who is passionate about subscriptions, revenue growth, and recurring business models across all verticals and industries. You will work with the Sales team during the evaluation process, to handhold prospects and provide them guidance on understanding Chargebee.
- As a Solution Consultant, you will become an industry expert in Subscriptions and own the solution design and strategy for all your clients.
- Your growth mindset and entrepreneurial focus will help you consistently innovate and strive to help our customers accelerate their recurring revenue growth through the use of our powerful Revenue Growth Management product suite.
- You will be working in the AMER Solution Consulting Startup team partnering with 2 Account Executives to deliver success.
What are we looking for
- BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, related fields or equivalent practical experience
- Typically 3 or more years of total experience in SaaS, technology, consulting, customer success, or support roles
- Someone with a solid grasp of SaaS fundamentals, HTTP/API concepts, and Chargebee core configuration patterns.
- Fast learner with clear curiosity about SaaS, billing, and revenue workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complex ideas.
- Early signs of customer empathy and active listening.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and iterating quickly.
- Demonstrated bias for action in prior roles.
- Strong business acumen and experience working with C-level executives translating how technology solutions can solve their business challenges.
Core Responsibilities:
Technical Mastery
- Learn core Chargebee architecture, key integrations (CRM, payment gateways, ERPs, checkout, reporting), and foundational API concepts (what APIs are, how they are used, and common limits).
- Configure and demo standard Chargebee workflows confidently.
Product Mastery
- Achieve working proficiency in core Chargebee modules relevant to their segment (subscriptions, invoicing, payments, dunning).
- Deliver both scripted and lightly customized demos aligned to common use cases.
Consulting Skills
- Run foundational discovery to understand customer context, pain points, and basic processes.
- Map simple customer scenarios to relevant Chargebee capabilities.
- Build a coherent product story tailored to the customer use case rather than delivering a feature tour.
Expanded Scope & Responsibility
- Own technical success for complex deals end-to-end, with coaching on structure and strategy.
- Support Account Executives on opportunities through research, environment setup, demo builds, value selling, ROI narratives and documentation.
- Own deal hygiene including notes, demo assets, internal handovers, and structured follow-ups.
