The L1 Solution Consultant plays a vital role in Extropy's centralized support model by providing essential operational, documentation, configuration, and process monitoring services across all client pods. This role ensures consistent service delivery, promotes efficiency through standardized tasks, and creates a learning foundation for career growth within Extropy's Professional Services organization.

Collaboration & Governance
Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Solution Architects/Consultants, and SMEs.
Ensure adherence to Extropy PS governance standards, including:
Time reporting
Task tracking and updates in Asana
Communication alignment with Pod members
Maintain high professional standards in communication, documentation, and accountability.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Required Experience
Technical Skills
Basic understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows and AP processes.
Ability to perform routine system monitoring, UAT preparation, and basic configuration tasks.
Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Asana, SharePoint, PDF tools).
Familiarity with data entry, basic troubleshooting, and following technical work instructions.
Willingness and ability to learn different Source-to-pay or Order-to-Cash solutions, and configuration best practices.
Soft Skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal.
Ability to follow structured processes while asking clarifying questions when needed.
Strong time management, task ownership, and reliability in meeting deadlines.
Collaborative, coachable, and open to feedback and continuous learning.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) is preferred but not mandatory.
Basware certifications (AP, P2P, or Network) are required within the first 3-6 months.
Work Arrangement
Remote
9AM to 5 PM EST with flexibility working with global teams across multiple time zones.
Travel Requirements
No travel is required.
