Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Partnership & Requirement Analysis:

• Partner with customers to define, analyze, document, and communicate objectives, business requirements, and priorities for TMS and related solutions.
• Gather and analyze requirements for new enhancements or modifications to existing applications.
• Work with varied applications in the TMS space, including ERP, OMS, FMS, TMS, and other vendor ecosystems.

Solution Design & Delivery:

• Provide technically appropriate solutions adhering to enterprise and application architecture principles.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts as project deliverables.
• Function as the principal techno-functional advisor for assigned customers.
• Conduct solution functional fit analysis to ensure designs meet business, technical, and governance requirements.

Strategic & Technical Leadership:

• Serve as a key liaison between Customer Process Owners and Pando Delivery/Product Teams.
• Define and plan business analysis activities, document business needs, and solution characteristics.
• Simplify complex problems and make high-level design and architecture connections.
• Ensure delivery of technology solutions that generate measurable business value.

Process Optimization & Problem Solving:

• Optimize work processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Solve problems systematically, identify root causes, and implement robust, data-driven solutions.
• Manage complexity effectively to make informed and holistic decisions.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

• Communicate effectively across multiple audiences, including IT and business stakeholders.
• Develop multi-mode communications to convey clear understanding of unique audience needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree; MBA in Operations and Supply Chain preferred.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience, with the past 5–6 years in business analysis and solutioning within Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, or Logistics domains.
• Minimum of 2 IT solution implementations in logistics functions across industries such as FMCG, Retail, Automotive.
• Prior experience in developing TMS or related solutions with ERP systems like SAP, OTM, JDE, Infor, Plex.
• Strong expertise in IT solution design, delivery, technology/solution architecture, and consulting with IT and business teams.
• Demonstrated ability to influence, lead, and sustain functional and IT blueprints/roadmaps.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and design-thinking capabilities.
• Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization.
• Pragmatic, innovative, and customer-focused mindset with P&L awareness.
