The solution architect is a key role, which safeguards and develops the design of the template/solution, has deep understanding & analysis of the business processes, to enable and steer optimal, scalable and holistic functional solution architecture and design which includes both new and legacy technology landscape.
The role leverages strong leadership capabilities to work with key & senior business and digital stakeholders collaborate across domains where needed and influences discussions towards evolving a simpler technology landscape which enables business outcomes and business value at speed.
Keeping up to date with the latest developments in the respective functional and technology area is key success criteria for this role. In addition, you are energized by working both independently and interdependently and cross functions. Last but not least you share and live the IKEA culture and values.

A day in your life with us
As a Solution Architect – Procure to Pay, you will play a key role in ensuring that SAP Procure-to-Pay domain delivers value to the business and supports efficient, data-driven decision-making.
You will take ownership of your area, continuously improving it by aligning capabilities with business needs. You will work hands-on with S4 HANA MM, LE, VIM ensuring solutions support how we actually operate.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across senior business leaders, key stake holders and technology architects, ensuring alignment and driving adoption.
This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, where your work directly impacts the delivery of high-quality solutions, technological advancements, and the organization's growth and efficiency.

Digital Area Group Function
The Digital Area – Group Functions is a new area built to strengthen digital partnership and delivery across all Group Functions and Global Business Operations (GBO). This helps us develop and deliver digital capabilities across key areas like Finance, People & Culture, Procurement, Legal, Business Risk & Compliance, Communications etc. It brings together technology, processes and people to deliver a high-performing, sustainable and low-cost Ingka.
You will be part of the Digital Area – Group Functions team, working in a global, collaborative, cross-functional environment. You will report to Platform Product Delivery Manager.
We work closely across functions - Finance, Procurement, Risk & Compliance, GBO, solution and technical architects, project managers, and end-users - to ensure our systems and processes enable smarter decisions and more efficient ways of working..
