About the Role

TecSight is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design, develop, and deliver scalable managed IT service solutions for enterprise customers. The role will focus on creating end-to-end technical and service architectures across Digital Workplace, Cloud & Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Application Services.

The Solution Architect will work closely with sales, presales, delivery, transition, project management, and customer stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, secure, and commercially viable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design and Architecture

  • Design end-to-end managed IT service solutions aligned with customer business objectives.
  • Develop technical architectures across workplace, infrastructure, cloud, cyber, network, endpoint, collaboration, and application support services.
  • Create high-level and low-level solution designs, operating models, service blueprints, and transition approaches.
  • Define solution scope, assumptions, dependencies, risks, service boundaries, SLAs, KPIs, and governance models.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, cost-effective, and operationally feasible.

Presales and Bid Support

  • Support sales and presales teams during customer discovery, RFP/RFI responses, proposal development, and technical presentations.
  • Participate in customer workshops to assess current-state environments and identify transformation opportunities.
  • Prepare solution narratives, architecture diagrams, service models, bill of materials, and technical proposal content.
  • Provide technical input for pricing, effort estimation, resource planning, and commercial models.
  • Present solutions to customer stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs, IT heads, security leaders, and procurement teams.

Digital Workplace Architecture

  • Architect modern workplace solutions covering Microsoft 365, Teams, Intune, Autopilot, endpoint management, SCCM/MECM, VDI, mobility, collaboration, and user support.
  • Design service desk, field support, device lifecycle management, end-user experience monitoring, and workplace automation solutions.
  • Support hybrid workplace, smart office, meeting room, and collaboration technology solutions.

Cloud and Infrastructure Architecture

  • Design managed cloud and infrastructure services across public cloud, private cloud, hybrid cloud, data center, network, server, storage, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Develop cloud migration, modernization, monitoring, optimization, and governance models.
  • Architect solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, VMware, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and related enterprise technologies.
  • Define infrastructure monitoring, patching, backup, capacity, availability, and incident response models.

Cybersecurity Architecture

  • Design security solutions covering endpoint protection, vulnerability management, IAM, Zero Trust, SIEM/SOC, cloud security, compliance, and security operations.
  • Ensure solutions align with security best practices, compliance requirements, and customer risk posture.
  • Collaborate with security teams to define threat monitoring, incident response, access control, and governance models.
  • Support cyber maturity assessments and security improvement roadmaps.

Application Services Architecture

  • Design managed application support models covering L1/L2/L3 support, application monitoring, incident/problem management, release support, DevOps coordination, and integration support.
  • Support application modernization, SaaS operations, workflow automation, and platform support solutions.
  • Ensure application services are integrated with infrastructure, cloud, security, and ITSM processes.

Delivery and Transition Support

  • Work with delivery teams to validate solution feasibility and readiness.
  • Support transition planning, due diligence, knowledge transfer, service onboarding, and operational handover.
  • Ensure smooth movement from solution design to implementation and steady-state operations.
  • Review delivery performance and recommend improvements to enhance service quality and customer experience.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in IT services, managed services, solution architecture, infrastructure, cloud, workplace, cybersecurity, or application services.
  • Strong experience designing enterprise managed service solutions.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes including incident, request, problem, change, configuration, knowledge, SLA, and service reporting.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, SCCM/MECM, endpoint management, collaboration tools, and modern workplace technologies.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity technologies including SIEM, SOC, IAM, endpoint security, vulnerability management, Zero Trust, and cloud security.
  • Experience with monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, network, server, storage, virtualization, and ITSM platforms.
  • Ability to create architecture diagrams, solution documents, service models, transition plans, and proposal content.
  • Strong customer-facing, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance technical depth, business outcomes, commercial feasibility, and delivery practicality.
