We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architectwith expertise in Java development and AWS to drive the design and delivery of cloud-based, scalable, and secure solutions aligned with business goals. Responsibilities
- Translate business objectives into scalable, secure technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards
- Drive architecture vision across application, integration, and infrastructure layers
- Apply architecture best practices using microservices, serverless, and event-driven patterns
- Prepare and deliver solution architecture documents, including SADs, assessments, and roadmaps
- Facilitate architecture brainstorming and whiteboarding sessions with internal teams and clients
- Define and document architecture-level artifacts, including solution diagrams, narratives, and work breakdown structures (WBS)
- Engage in technical reviews, design validations, and customer solution walkthroughs
- Lead architectural decisions across technology domains such as data, security, and system integration
- Incorporate considerations for non-functional requirements (NFRs) like performance, scalability, security, and high availability
- Provide leadership in architectural quality frameworks, including utility trees and QAW processes
Requirements
- 13-19 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in leadership roles
- Proven expertise in Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture
- Background in leading 3+ Solution Architecture projects over the last 5 years
- Strong implementation experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, Step Functions, SNS/SQS
- Experience designing and building cloud-native applications and serverless solutions
- Familiarity with non-functional requirements, including but not limited to performance, security, scalability, and high availability
- Proficiency in creating detailed architecture artifacts such as solution diagrams, WBS, and narratives
- Direct involvement in customer-facing technical discussions and architecture-based workshops
- Capability to drive architectural trade-offs and decisions across multiple technology domains
- Exposure to architectural quality frameworks such as Utility Trees and QAW processes
- Flexibility to work across greenfield projects and modernization efforts with a solution-assembly mindset
- English level of minimum B2 (Upper-Intermediate) for effective communication
