Position Overview

The Functional Architect in Product Development plays a critical role in shaping the future of Blue Yonder's supply chain solutions. This position involves understanding customer needs, existing product capabilities, and the competitive landscape to contribute to the product vision and design. The Functional Architect will collaborate closely with product management, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the functional excellence and business alignment of our solutions.

Responsibilities

Serve as a domain expert within the product development team, guiding QA engineers and influencing product strategy. Develop functional specifications and present them to stakeholders for feedback. Ensure solutions meet customer objectives and enhance user experience. Interface with various teams including product management, stakeholders, and customers. Validate new features and their integration with existing solutions. Participate in product planning and prioritization with product management. Review test scenarios, cases, and product documentation to ensure quality and completeness.

Technical Environment

  • Experience with Agile methodologies, cloud technologies, and supply chain management software.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their application within the supply chain domain is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in functional architecture, preferably in software or supply chain solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and best practices.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in user experience design and validation.
