Job description: Sr Solution Architect
- Define/Design Teamcenter architecture, Data Model for CAD, Document, Requirement Management with CAD and ALM integration
- Teamcenter customization. configuration, development and solution mapping.
Solution Definition, Development For
- Teamcenter Solution Designing for both Client and Server and integration with third party application
- Multi-site data transfer & administration
- BMIDE Naming/Revision rules, Deep copy rules, Action rules
- BMIDE Packaging, Hot & Cold deployment
- CAD UGNX, Part, Assembly & Drafting, Part Families, Reuse Library, UDF Library, Import-Export.
- Teamcenter integration with ECAD (Altium)
- ECAD design, ECAD Part library integrations with Teamcenter using tools like Mentor Xpedition, ORCAD, etc
- T4S Configuration and Customization
- Teamcenter Polarion Integration
- D2 Documentum to TC Migration (Docs, DHF, DMR)
- SolidWorks/AutoCAD Integration
- BOM Management
- Teamcenter UA - Workflow, Structure Manager, Access Manager, Preference Manager, MPP, BOM Management, Query, PLM XML.
- Teamcenter customization skills, mapping raw requirements to PLM/Teamcenter framework. Designing PLM application landscape
- Experience in brown field - Teamcenter implementations involving complex / significant data migration and cutover activities
- Roles And Responsibilities
- Understanding the business requirements, developing & delivering Solutions, promoting conformance to established system & solution architecture standards and best practices.
- Work in collaboration with Teamcenter Enterprise Architect, Teamcenter Developer and Business SMEs to evaluate & improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions
- Lead & direct junior or contractor Teamcenter architects and developer resources engaged in understanding the business requirements, developing & delivering IT system solutions, promoting conformance to established system & solution architecture standards and best practices.
- Support the PLM Project Managers in the planning and effective application of technical elements of change, and risk management principles where required.
- Understand & drive all projects implementations following as appropriate ALM/Tollgate and Agile/SCRUM process
Qualification
- Academic degree in computer science or another technical field or an equivalent qualification.
- Multiple years of professional experience in Teamcenter customization, both in client and server side, also as a technical lead in development projects
- Expert knowledge of Teamcenter customization server and client side (RAC, Active workspace) (JAVA, JAVA Script, HTML etc.) (ITK, C, C++, Coding using BMIDE)
- Thorough knowledge of BMIDE configuration of data model, rules etc.
- Thorough knowledge of Teamcenter modules (Organization, Workflow Designer, Access Manager, Query Builder, PLMXMLTCXML etc.)
