Solution Architect / Director – West Africa 

Location: West Africa (On-site / Regional Hub) — reporting to Leadership, Infodat International 

About the Role 

Infodat is expanding its footprint into West Africa and is looking for a hands-on Solution Architect / Director to lead this growth. This is a dual mandate: build and own the technical solution architecture for Infodat's offerings in the region (Selltis CRM, enterprise modernization, and AI-enabled solutions), while also acting as the senior-most local leader responsible for client relationships, delivery quality, and team building on the ground. 

You will work closely with Infodat's India delivery organization and Infodat International's US leadership, translating regional client needs into solution designs and ensuring those solutions are delivered to a consistent global standard. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for client engagements across the West Africa region — requirements analysis, solution design, technology selection, and delivery oversight. 
• Act as the primary regional leader: build and manage a local team, set delivery standards, and represent Infodat in front of clients and partners. 
• Lead pre-sales solutioning — scoping engagements, preparing proposals and estimates, and presenting technical solutions to prospective clients. 
• Partner with the India-based development team (Selltis CRM and Infodat product lines) to ensure regional projects are staffed, resourced, and delivered on schedule. 
• Define and enforce architecture standards, coding practices, and quality gates across regional and cross-border delivery teams. 
• Identify opportunities to introduce AI-enabled tooling and modernization approaches (e.g., legacy migration, AI infrastructure) into client engagements. 
• Manage client relationships post go-live, including support escalation, account growth, and renewal conversations. 
• Report regularly to Infodat International leadership on regional pipeline, delivery health, and team performance. 

Required Qualifications 

• 12+ years in software engineering, with at least 4–5 years in a Solution Architect, Technical Director, or equivalent leadership role. 
• Proven experience architecting and delivering enterprise applications — CRM, ERP, or custom line-of-business systems — across the full lifecycle. 
• Strong hands-on background in modern web application architecture (e.g., .NET Core, React, cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS). 
• Demonstrated experience leading client-facing engagements: scoping, proposals, solution presentations, and delivery accountability. 
• Experience building or managing a team, ideally in a new-market or regional start-up capacity. 
• Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy while coordinating closely with an offshore (India-based) delivery organization. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French proficiency is a strong plus given the regional footprint. 
• Willingness to be based in West Africa and travel within the region as needed. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Prior experience in the CRM, industrial B2B, manufacturing, or distribution sectors. 
• Familiarity with legacy system modernization (e.g., FoxPro, VB, older .NET stacks) and migration to cloud-native architectures. 
• Exposure to AI-enabled development tooling or AI infrastructure projects. 
• Existing professional network or market knowledge within West Africa's enterprise or technology sector. 
• Prior experience setting up or scaling a regional office or delivery center.
