Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infrastructure Cloud Architect with deep expertise across Morpheus, OpsRamp, Zerto, and VME platforms. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in pursuit support, complex delivery engagements, and technical enablement across the broader team. This position requires a strong understanding of modern hybridcloud ecosystems, automation, monitoring, backup/DR solutions, and HCI technologies. The candidate should have good knowledge of Cloud Management Platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pursuit / PreSales Support

• Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, solution proposals, and technical presentations.
• Participate in customer workshops to gather requirements and articulate solution designs.
• Provide architectural guidance for hybridcloud, automation, and monitoring offerings.

2. Delivery / Solution Implementation

• Lead the design and implementation of solutions leveraging Morpheus, OpsRamp, Zerto, and VME.
• Architect and deploy scalable HCI solutions and combine capabilities of monitoring, backup & DR, and automation with OpsRamp, Zerto, and Morpheus respectively.
• Automate service catalogs on Morpheus with Ansible and Terraform across cloud platforms such as VMware (VME), Azure, and AWS.
• Ensure delivery quality through governance, validation, and bestpractice frameworks.
• Design HighLevel and LowLevel Architecture Documents with standardized workflows.

3. Team Capability Enablement

• Coach and mentor delivery teams on platform capabilities and architectural standards.
• Develop reusable solution templates, deployment frameworks, and automation blueprints.
• Contribute to internal knowledge repositories, playbooks, and handson technical training.

4. Platform Engineering & Optimization

• Drive platform enhancements, integrations, and performance tuning across multicloud environments.
• Establish operational standards for monitoring, backup/DR, and cloud resource governance.
• Collaborate with product engineering and operations teams to resolve complex issues.

Required Technical Skills

Cloud Infrastructure

• Strong understanding of Hybrid Cloud, IaaS, governance, identity, and networking.
• Experience with Azure, VMware, Nutanix deployment and architecture concepts.
• Handson expertise in VMware virtualization (vSphere, vCenter, Aria Suite, VCF), Nutanix AOS/Prism, and HCI architectures.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes platforms.
• Strong command of Linux/Ubuntu OS.
• Proficiency with Python, Ansible, Terraform for automation.

Platform Expertise

• Morpheus: Selfservice automation, catalog design, integrations, orchestration.
• OpsRamp: Monitoring, observability, automation, discovery, event management.
• Zerto: Disaster recovery, replication architecture, dataprotection strategies.

Automation & OS

• Strong Linux administration knowledge.
• Proficiency with Ansible (playbooks, roles, CI/CD integrations).

ITSM & Monitoring Tooling

• Experience with ServiceNow (CMDB, service catalog integrations).
• Monitoring frameworks such as OpsRamp, Azure Monitor, vROps, or equivalents.

Backup & DR

Deep working knowledge of enterprise backup tools such as:

• Veeam
• Commvault
• Zerto

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across multifunctional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• 812 years of experience in cloud infrastructure architecture roles.
• Certifications in VMware, Nutanix, Azure, Automation, or ITIL are a strong plus.
• Experience designing solutions for enterprise customers in complex multicloud landscapes.
