Position Overview
We are seeking a highly technical, forward-thinking Solution Architect for our Cloud & DevOps Practice. In this role, you will lead the architectural strategy, design, and execution of complex cloud infrastructure and automated software delivery systems for our enterprise and mid-market clients.
You will operate at the intersection of enterprise business strategy and deeply technical implementation. This requires collaborating with client CXOs to define multi-cloud strategies, while simultaneously writing structural blueprints for our engineering squads. You will ensure that every solution we deploy is secure, highly available, scalable, and fully optimized for cloud economics.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Strategy & Design: Lead the discovery, structural scoping, and high/low-level design (HLD/LLD) of secure, resilient multi-cloud and hybrid environments across major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Modern DevOps Orchestration: Blueprint automated software delivery ecosystems, encompassing comprehensive continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing integrations, and immutable infrastructure environments.
- Containerization & Microservices: Design and optimize orchestration platforms using Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) and Docker to decouple monolithic business applications into scalable, containerized architectures.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Champion automated provisioning frameworks by developing scalable, reusable IaC configurations using Terraform, OpenTofu, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Pre-Sales & Enterprise Advisory: Partner with our account executives during early discovery stages. Lead technical workshops, evaluate legacy architectures, write formal Statements of Work (SOWs), and convincingly demonstrate the technical and economic value of our designs to client stakeholders.
- FinOps & Security Governance: Embed DevSecOps principles directly into infrastructure designs (IAM controls, secrets management, encryption at rest/in transit). Implement robust cloud financial management (FinOps) strategies to continuously optimize resource allocation and client expenditures.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience & Certifications
- 8 to 12+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, software engineering, or cloud engineering, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years spent serving directly in an architectural role.
- Proven track record of successfully guiding complex, large-scale migration paths from legacy on-premises data centers to public or hybrid cloud environments.
- Required Certifications: Professional-level or Expert-level certifications in at least one major hyperscaler platform (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect).
Technical Domain Expertise
- Hyperscalers: Deep, hands-on architectural command over core compute, storage, networking, database, and security features within AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- DevOps Ecosystem: Practical mastery of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Helm).
- Infrastructure Automation: Strong capability with declarative IaC tools, particularly Terraform.
- System Environments: Proficient in Linux systems administration, enterprise networking configurations (VPCs, VPNs, Direct Connect, SD-WAN), and modern microservices routing.
