About The Team

Woh Shon joined Nutanix in 2024, bringing with him extensive experience in the domain of Application Modernization, Cloud Native & Container Technologies
Prior to joining Nutanix, he has held various technical and leadership roles across different organizations, helping organizations build future-ready architectures.
Your Role
- Engage with customers to understand their business challenges and propose tailored, automation-driven solutions utilizing Nutanix technologies.
- Deliver impactful presentations and demonstrations, guiding customers from initial discovery through deployment and ensuring satisfaction at all stages.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and partner teams to drive pipeline growth and accelerate customer adoption of Nutanix cloud-native solutions.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, conducting regular check-ins to promote product adoption and ensure successful rollouts.
- Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies by contributing to marketing materials and participating in workshops and bootcamps.
- Analyze customer feedback and competitive trends to influence product roadmaps and enhance Nutanix offerings.
- Stay current with industry trends in automation and cloud-native technologies, sharing insights with internal teams to inform strategy.
- Achieve first-year objectives by driving measurable customer success, increasing product adoption, and contributing to sales performance through effective technical leadership.
What You Will Bring
- 6-9 years of experience in IT Operations, SRE, DevOps, or technical sales, with strong customer adoption of automation and cloud-native solutions.
- Deep expertise in virtualization and private cloud domain and related technologies.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools & Automation solutions like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, vRA, vRO or similar technologies
- Working knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and related cloud-native ecosystem tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to effectively develop business cases, lead ROI/TCO conversations, and navigate technical discovery and proposal approval processes.
- Adept at problem-solving complex operational challenges and influencing product roadmaps based on customer feedback.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/Computer Science.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
