Solution Architect B2B E-Commerce

Key Responsibilities:

Design scalable and maintainable B2B platform architectures

Own end-to-end solution architecture for B2B systems and integrations

Define and enforce Microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Event-Driven Architecture patterns

Architect API-based integrations and versioning strategies

Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

Leverage cloud platforms (preferably GCP) to build scalable and resilient systems

Mentor technical leads and guide engineering teams on architectural best practices

Evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation within the e-commerce ecosystem

Ensure enterprise-wide architectural alignment across business domains

Document architecture decisions, standards, and design patterns

Required Skills & Experience:

12+ years of Software Engineering, System Design, and Architecture experience

3–5+ years as Solution Architect in B2B/B2C E-Commerce environments

Experience with e-commerce platforms such as SFCC, Intershop, Shopify, or similar

Strong expertise in Microservices Architecture and Distributed Systems

Hands-on experience with API Architecture, Integrations, and Versioning Strategies

Experience designing Event-Driven Architectures and Enterprise Workflows

Cloud experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure

Strong database design experience using SQL and NoSQL databases

Experience integrating ERP, CRM, and enterprise applications

Exposure to AI-driven customer service solutions, Chatbots, RAG, and Automated Workflows

Strong stakeholder management, governance, and mentoring capabilities

Agile development experience with excellent communication skills
