A leading global advisory organization is expanding its digital and artificial intelligence platforms and is seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect to support large-scale enterprise and manufacturing transformation programs. This 12 month contract opportunity offers the chance to shape cutting-edge AI, data, and industrial connectivity solutions across complex, regulated environments.
This role will sit within a central AI enablement group, designing shared technology foundations that allow advanced analytics, machine learning, and intelligent applications to run securely and efficiently across cloud, enterprise systems, and factory-floor platforms.
You will be responsible for designing and governing enterprise-wide solution blueprints that link cloud platforms, business systems, and manufacturing technology into a single, intelligent ecosystem. Your work will enable AI solutions to operate reliably, securely, and at scale.
Key activities include:
- Creating hybrid architecture designs that connect on-premise business platforms, industrial systems, and cloud services for analytics, automation, and AI workloads
- Defining modern integration approaches using APIs, events, and data pipelines, including data models, schemas, and orchestration patterns
- Enabling connectivity between digital platforms and shop-floor systems to support industrial IoT and manufacturing use cases
- Developing reusable integration assets, reference designs, and platform components for engineering teams to reuse across multiple initiatives
- Partnering with product owners, data specialists, and software engineers to convert business and AI needs into robust technical designs
- Providing technical direction on middleware, API management, streaming platforms, microservices, and edge connectivity
- Supporting technology evaluations for integration tools, AI orchestration layers, and industrial connectivity platforms
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should bring strong enterprise architecture experience combined with deep knowledge of cloud, integration, and industrial systems.
Solid Microsoft environment experience in Azure and Fabric. Looking for immediate starter and can work 100% onsite in Mumbai.
You will ideally have:
- 10+ years in enterprise IT, cloud, or digital engineering, with at least 5 years designing large-scale solution architectures
- Hands-on exposure to AI, data platforms, modern analytics, or intelligent automation in production environments
- Strong experience with APIs, integration platforms, event streaming, and data pipelines
- Proven ability to integrate major enterprise systems and manufacturing technologies such as ERP, CRM, MES, LIMS, and plant-floor platforms
- Experience working across IT and OT environments, including industrial connectivity and edge systems
- Knowledge of industrial data flows, IoT architectures, and real-time data ingestion
- Solid expertise with Microsoft Azure services for integration, messaging, automation, and data movement
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms, including real-time and batch processing models
- Experience designing secure, compliant solutions for regulated or data-sensitive industries
- Familiarity with monitoring, tracing, and operational observability tools
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
