Job Title: SOLIDWORKS Presales and Postsales Consultant
Job Description:
The SOLIDWORKS Presales and Postsales Consultant is responsible for supporting the sales process for SOLIDWORKS products and services. This role combines technical expertise with customer engagement to help prospects understand the value of SOLIDWORKS solutions. You will work closely with the sales team to provide demonstrations, answer technical questions, and assist in creating proposals for potential clients. After the sale, you will support clients in onboarding, training, and troubleshooting to ensure they maximize their use of SOLIDWORKS software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth product demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting the features and benefits of SOLIDWORKS solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Provide technical support to clients during the presales process, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and RFP responses.
- Facilitate onboarding and training programs for new customers to ensure successful implementation.
- Offer post-sales support, including troubleshooting and resolving customer issues.
- Gather and document customer feedback to contribute to product improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest SOLIDWORKS features and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
Skills and Requirements:
- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS software, including 3D modeling, simulation, and analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of CAD principles and design workflows.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to respond effectively to customer inquiries.
- Experience in a technical sales or customer support role, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing sector.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple customer engagements.
- Understanding of various industries that utilize SOLIDWORKS, such as aerospace, automotive, and product design.
Tools and Technologies:
- SOLIDWORKS software suite
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for managing leads and customer interactions.
- Presentation tools (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint) for delivering product demonstrations and training sessions.
- Remote collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) for virtual meetings and presentations.
- Technical documentation tools for creating training materials and user guides.
