Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Solidworks Designer role located in Bhavnagar. The Solidworks Designer will create detailed 3D models and technical drawings of mechanical components and assemblies using Solidworks and other CAD tools. Daily responsibilities include developing machine designs, updating existing designs based on feedback, and ensuring drawings meet manufacturing standards and safety requirements. The role involves collaborating with mechanical engineers, production teams, and R&D staff to refine designs, resolve technical issues, and support prototype development. The designer will also maintain design documentation, perform basic design calculations, and contribute to continuous improvement of products and processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Solidworks, with experience creating 3D models and detailed engineering drawings.
- Candidates should possess skills in Technical Drawing, including dimensioning, tolerancing, and preparation of fabrication and assembly drawings for manufacturing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering, with an understanding of materials, mechanisms, and basic engineering calculations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Research and Development (R&D), including the ability to support prototyping, testing, and design optimization.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to interpret engineering standards, work accurately with attention to detail, and meet project deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Prior experience in industrial machinery or manufacturing design will be an added advantage.
