Job Description

The SolarWinds Administrator will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining SolarWinds monitoring tools to ensure optimal network and application performance. The role involves installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, creating dashboards, and configuring alerts to meet operational and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer SolarWinds modules including NPM, NCM, NTA, SAM, and WPM.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and apply hotfixes for various SolarWinds modules.
  • Add, remove, and maintain servers and services in SolarWinds.
  • Gather requirements and interact with clients to understand monitoring needs.
  • Create and modify alerts to notify responsible teams for system issues.
  • Configure and schedule reports for various applications.
  • Troubleshoot errors and configuration issues related to network monitoring.
  • Create custom views and dashboards for application teams.
  • Develop SOPs, documentation, processes, and procedures for SolarWinds administration.
  • Configure and customize SolarWinds and Dynatrace tooling systems to meet organizational requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of the tooling systems.
  • Proven experience in managing enterprise-scale SolarWinds and Dynatrace environments.
