SOLAR Engineer- PV & PT -Sales & Projects, On-Site, Botswana, Africa
Apex Solar Botswana
- ASB is in the business of providing solar solutions and has 3 business verticals
- Sale of Retail/Wholesale Solar Equipment's
- EPC (Engineering, procurement, Commissioning) for Solar Projects/Solutions (turnkey Solutions)
- IPP (Independent power producers/ developer of projects as investor cum developer)
Job Location : Gaborone, Botswana, Africa
Job Summary:
Sales & Commercial Support
- Support technical sales discussions with clients and partners.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and respond to RFPs.
- Provide ROI, CAPEX/OPEX, and energy savings analysis.
- Liaise with procurement for vendor/supplier selection.
- Coordinate with clients, and utility companies.
- Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Conduct site assessments, load profiling, and yield simulations with help of design team.
Requirements
- Have min. 5 years working in Solar PV Systems.
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Familiar with tender documents
- Familiar Design tools like PVsyst, Helioscope and AutoCAD
- Great Understanding of MS. Office
- Able to read electrical engineering drawings
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken
- Valid 4 wheel Driving License.
- Valid passport.
