Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Solar Service Engineer located in Ahmedabad. The Solar Service Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing ongoing maintenance and repair services, and delivering technical support to ensure optimal performance of solar energy systems. Additional tasks may involve performing field inspections, documenting service reports, and assisting in the implementation of energy solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Customer support: Provide technical support and communicate with clients or plant management regarding system performance and issues.
Essential skills and qualifications- Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, electrical systems, and power electronics.
- Field experience: Previous experience in a field service role is often required, including experience with site visits and hands-on repairs.
- Problem-solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Soft skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability: The job may involve physically intensive tasks, working in various weather conditions, and climbing ladders.
- Educational qualification: A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is must required for this role.
