Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Solar Sales Manager, based in Chennai. The Solar Sales Manager will lead sales initiatives, develop new business opportunities, and build relationships with potential clients to promote solar solutions. Responsibilities include managing a team of sales professionals, setting sales goals, preparing proposals, coordinating customer consultations, and working with the operational team to ensure successful project completion. Strategic planning and identifying growth opportunities will also be a key part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in Sales of Solar Rooftop and Ground Projects in India.
  • Consultancy Services Sales is an added advantage
  • Capability to close a minimum of 200kWp per month.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication abilities
  • Knowledge of Solar Energy Solutions, Renewable Energy Systems, and associated technologies
  • Experience with Market Research, Negotiation, and Strategic Planning
  • Proficiency in creating sales proposals and managing client relationships
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (master's degree is a plus)
  • Familiarity with energy regulations and compliance standards in the renewable energy industry is preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve targets
