Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Engineering: Create layouts, schematics, and technical specifications for solar PV and thermal systems, using software for modeling and optimization.Site Assessment: Evaluate locations for solar irradiance, shading, orientation, and structural suitability.Performance Simulation: Model system performance and energy production to maximize efficiency.Project Management: Collaborate with teams, manage project phases, and ensure projects meet budget, timeline, and quality standards.Safety & Standards: Develop and implement operational procedures and safety standards for installations and maintenance.Testing & Analysis: Inspect finished products, test components, and perform cost-benefit analyses.Research: Stay updated on new solar technologies, materials, and processes.
