Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Solar BESS Manager to lead the design, integration, and execution of solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The role requires strong technical expertise in electrical systems, hybrid solar + storage solutions, and EPC project execution. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project involvement, including engineering, implementation, and supporting commercial structuring of projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Technical Design & Engineering
- Design solar PV systems (rooftop and ground-mounted), including system sizing, layouts, and SLDs.
- Develop and integrate BESS solutions, including battery sizing and charge-discharge strategies.
- Conduct site assessments and technical feasibility studies.
- Optimize hybrid solar + storage system configurations for different applications.
- Support battery integration and installation planning at project sites.
2. EPC Execution & Project Implementation
- Manage end-to-end EPC execution including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, contractors, and consultants.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of solar and BESS systems.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and performance standards.
- Provide technical guidance to site teams.
3. BOQ Preparation & Project Structuring
- Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for solar and BESS projects.
- Develop technical specifications and engineering documentation.
- Support cost estimation and project planning activities.
4. Commercial Structuring & Project Support
- Assist in structuring projects under PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) models.
- Support BOOT/BOAT (Build–Own–Operate–Transfer) project frameworks.
- Contribute to financial feasibility analysis and energy generation modeling.
- Work with internal teams on developing bankable project proposals.
5. Business Development & Client Engagement
- Support preparation of technical proposals, tenders, and bid submissions.
- Participate in client meetings and technical presentations.
- Assist in identifying new project opportunities and evaluating feasibility.
- Coordinate with internal teams for project planning and execution strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
