Solar Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design solar PV systems including array layouts, SLDs, and energy yield reports.
• Use AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Helioscope to model, simulate, and validate system designs.
• Prepare BOMs/BOQs and technical documentation for project execution.
• Conduct site feasibility and shading analysis using survey data and satellite imagery.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams for design approval and revisions.
• Optimize system layout and component sizing to improve performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• 2+ years of experiencein solar PV system design and simulation.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, MS Excel, and electrical design tools.
• Good understanding of PV modules, inverters, and BOS components.
• Ability to assess site conditions and prepare accurate layout plans.
