Our client is dedicated to deploying sustainable solar power solutions and is seeking a dynamic professional to lead bid management efforts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful renewable energy projects in a fast-growing industry.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end bid processes for solar EPC projects, including proposal development, costing, and submission.
- Collaborate with technical teams to prepare project specifications, scope of work, and tender documents.
- Assess project feasibility, analyze risks, and develop pricing strategies to secure contracts.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to gather inputs and negotiate terms.
- Ensure compliance with governmental and industry regulations throughout the bidding process.
- Maintain a database of ongoing and upcoming tenders, track submission deadlines, and prepare status reports.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must-Have
- Proven experience in bid management within the Solar or EPC industry in India.
- Strong understanding of solar project technical specifications and EPC contracting processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze technical and commercial bid components.
- Proficiency in MS Office, bid management software, and project documentation tools.
- Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks governing renewable energy projects in India.
- Preferred
- Experience working with government tenders and international clients.
- Background in financial modeling or project finance.
