Job Description

Title: SOH & Sponsorship Manager

Location: Ghaziabad

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, media sales, OOH advertising, brand partnerships, mall marketing, or commercial revenue generation.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and closing high-value commercial deals.
  • Existing network within brands, media agencies, advertisers, and corporate partners will be an added advantage.
  • Experience working in retail, malls, advertising, media, events, or experiential marketing environments preferred.

About the Role:

The SOH & Sponsorship Manager will be responsible for driving the complete non-rental revenue portfolio for through strategic monetization of media inventory and sponsorship sales. The role serves as the primary commercial interface between the mall and brands, media agencies, advertisers, and sponsorship partners.

The successful candidate will focus on maximizing revenue from advertising spaces, securing sponsorships for events and properties, building long-term brand partnerships, and ensuring high occupancy across the mall's media assets. This role plays a critical part in enhancing project profitability, strengthening brand positioning, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Generation & Business Development:

  • Drive annual SOH (Space on Hire) and sponsorship revenue targets through effective sales planning and execution.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals for media inventory and sponsorship sales.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of brands, advertisers, media agencies, OOH specialists, and corporate partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams across the mall ecosystem.

Media Inventory Sales:

  • Market and monetize the mall's complete advertising inventory, including:
  • Façade branding
  • Atrium activations
  • Hoardings and standees
  • Lift wraps
  • Pillar branding
  • Washroom advertising
  • Parking area branding
  • Digital screens and LED displays
  • Negotiate and close advertising deals while maximizing yield from available inventory.
  • Ensure optimal occupancy and utilization of all media assets.

Sponsorship Sales & Brand Partnerships:

  • Develop and sell sponsorship opportunities for:
  • In-mall events
  • Seasonal campaigns
  • Festive activations
  • Consumer engagement programs
  • Proprietary mall IPs
  • Create compelling sponsorship proposals and customized brand integration packages.
  • Build long-term relationships with key sponsors and brand partners.

Commercial Negotiation & Contract Management:

  • Negotiate commercial terms, rate cards, contracts, payment schedules, and renewal agreements.
  • Ensure timely closure of deals while protecting business interests and maintaining profitability.
  • Manage contract execution and compliance with agreed commercial terms.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Benchmarking:

  • Monitor media inventory pricing, sponsorship trends, and commercial activities across leading Delhi-NCR malls and retail destinations.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities and pricing strategies.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations to management.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Leasing, BTL, Events, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and sponsorship commitments.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Reporting & Collections:

  • Maintain accurate MIS and reporting dashboards covering:
  • Revenue booked, billed, and collected
  • Inventory occupancy rates
  • Deal pipeline and forecasts
  • Sponsorship performance
  • Client acquisition metrics
  • Work with the Finance team to ensure timely collections and healthy receivable cycles.
  • Monitor outstanding payments and drive collection efficiency.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Media inventory occupancy percentage
  • Sponsorship revenue generated
  • Number of new brand partnerships acquired
  • Renewal and retention rate of advertisers
  • Collection efficiency and receivables management
  • Pipeline conversion ratio
  • Year-on-year growth in non-rental revenue

  • Strong sales, sponsorship, and business development capabilities
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Experience in media sales, OOH advertising, sponsorships, or commercial partnerships
  • Strong presentation and proposal development skills
  • Financial acumen and revenue management expertise
  • Analytical mindset with strong reporting and forecasting abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and achieve aggressive revenue targets

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • 4+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, media sales, OOH advertising, brand partnerships, mall marketing, or commercial revenue generation.
