Job Requirements
Role: Software verification and Integration Test Engineer
He/she performs Verification and Validation (V&V) activities on functions of Rail signalling System, sub-systems and components on the project assigned.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of Verification & Tests tools to be used during Validation Campaign Setting-up the verification & test environment applying the appropriate configuration
- Delivery of Test Verification & procedures on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope, according to his/her Engineering Work Package.
- Configure and install all the subsystem related software on test bench
- Perform verification and tests on test bench
- Delivery of verification & test reports on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope
- Configuration management of Verification & Test deliverables on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope : 100% deliverables properly managed into configuration database
- Management of validation status of change requests (CR) on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope : all CR status up-to-date in CR database (in line with test procedures and reports)
- Management of CR on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope: all NOK results in test reports related to a CR
- Design, Interface, Scope and Engineering Input clarification with customer Interfacing/Clarification with all Project teams for Architecture, Engineering and alignment with independent safety assessor
- Evaluation of customer and internal requirements towards establishing suitable project specific solution and requirements engineering/compliance
- Have performed hands on design engineering activities for System Design, Architecture, Technical leadership, Engineering for wayside and onboard ETCS, Evaluation of operational scenarios, requirements, and interfaces.
- Understanding of other subsystem like Interlocking, ATS, TMS, RATO and RATP. Communication and Diagnostic Systems
- Knowledge on Test Management, Configuration Management, DOORs and Defect tracking
- Supporting installation and tests activities/teams onsite (ITC Support at DMRC site)
- Knowledge of Projects Support functions (RM/DM/CM) and Quality Management
Required Skills/ Knowledge
- Hands on experience on main subsystems/Systems of a Mass transit project
- Experience in Verification and validation testing.
- Fundamental knowledge of Linux or UNIX operating system
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts
- Good exposure to CENELAC process
