Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals for the Software Testing position. This role is ideal for freshers/entry-level candidates looking to start their career in software quality assurance and testing.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases based on software requirements and design specifications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand software functionality and provide feedback on usability and performance.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and contribute to the agile development process.
- Maintain and update test documentation and test plans.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
