The company specializes in custom software, web and mobile applications, cloud services, enterprise applications (including CRM, ERP), and digital transformation solutions for multiple industries, including healthcare. Harvee Technology takes a collaborative approach, combining strategy, design, and innovation to build products that are scalable, efficient, and tailored to real-world needs.

About The Product

We offer a robust Patient Management Software designed for clinics, hospitals, and diagnostic centers. The solution improves clinical workflows, administrative efficiency, appointments & records management, and reporting — empowering healthcare providers with modern digital tools.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Testing / QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of our software solutions, with a primary focus on our flagship healthcare product. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and tracking bugs, and collaborating closely with our development and product teams.

Because our software directly impacts healthcare delivery and patient data management, a high level of precision, confidentiality, and commitment to quality is essential.

Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & Execution

  • Review product requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Execute manual and/or automated testing across web applications, mobile applications, and API integrations.

Defect Tracking & Quality Assurance

  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track system bugs and performance bottlenecks.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and systems are updated.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.

Domain-Specific Testing (Healthcare Focus)

  • Validate workflows related to patient data, appointment scheduling, billing, and clinical reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy standards and security protocols.
  • Test software usability from the perspective of non-technical healthcare staff (doctors, receptionists, lab technicians).

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., developers, product managers, and business analysts) to isolate issues and verify fixes.
  • Provide clear QA metrics, reports, and status updates to the engineering leadership team.

Required Experience & QualificationsExperience

  • 2 – 8 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance. (Freshers with relevant certifications or internship experience are welcome to apply).
  • Prior experience or familiarity with testing healthcare IT products, ERPs, or CRMs is a strong plus.

Core Technical Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing; familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) or API testing tools (e.g., Postman) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL to perform backend data validation.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Mantis.

Soft Skills & Communication

  • Meticulous attention to detail and an analytical, problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical issues clearly.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

What Success Looks Like

  • Zero-Defect Deployments: High-quality software releases with minimal post-production bugs.
  • Thorough Coverage: 100% test case coverage for all critical product features and clinical workflows.
  • Efficient Pipelines: Faster release cycles achieved through well-organized regression testing and proactive communication with developers.

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
  • Health insurance and wellness benefits.
  • Collaborative and learning-focused work environment.
  • Opportunities for career growth and transition into automated testing or product management.
