Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing test cases to ensure software quality.
- Executing test cases and documenting results.
- Identifying, recording, and tracking bugs and issues in software applications.
- Collaborating with development teams to understand features and provide feedback on functionality.
- Participating in requirement analysis and providing input on software design and requirements.
- Performing regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not broken after enhancements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is a plus.
- Experience with testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG is an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to document test cases and results clearly.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
