Role: Software Tester – International Payments

Key Responsibilities:
- Manual and functional testing of international payment applications including SWIFT, MT, and MX message formats.
- Validate payment workflows across cross-border transactions, remittances, and settlement processes.
- Analyze and test compliance with global payment standards and regulatory requirements.
- Design and execute test cases, report defects, and track resolution using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, QC, or similar).
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test scenarios, test cases, and defects for complete coverage.
- Participate in SIT and UAT cycles for payment systems and integration testing
- Support production issues, change requests, and enhancements post-go-live.
- Apply domain expertise in SWIFT messaging validation, reconciliation on, and compliance reporting.
- Contribute to documenta on, process improvements, and knowledge sharing within the QA team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including business analysts, developers, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of testing cycles.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2 – 6 years of experience in so ware testing with a focus on international payments.
- Strong understanding of SWIFT payments, MT/MX message formats, and cross-border transaction flows.
- Hands-on experience with software testing concepts, defect lifecycle, and test management tools.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams, with a focus on quality assurance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with payment systems such as SWIFT gateways, core banking platforms, or similar.
- Experience in testing international payment workflows including transaction validation, settlement, and reporting.
