ETL Tester (Automation Specialist)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive ETLTester with 4+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, including a strong foundation in manual testing and a proven ability to initiate and lead automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in creating new testing frameworks, improving test coverage, and accelerating release cycles through automation.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and API-based applications
- Lead the transition from manual to automated testing by identifying high-impact areas for automation
- Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and drive continuous improvement in testing processes
- Monitor test execution, analyze results, and report metrics to stakeholders
- Ensure regression testing is automated and integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior testers and promote best practices in automation and quality assurance
- Can manage multiple projects in the fast pace
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 12 years in automation
- Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, RestAssured)
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
