Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and curious Software Tester to join our tech team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a strong foundation in manual testing, API testing, and product quality assurance while working closely with developers and product managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications
- Execute functional, regression, and black-box testing
- Validate test data accuracy, data flows, and business logic
- Perform basic API testing using tools like Postman
- Create, review, and maintain test cases ensuring completeness and relevance
- Identify, document, and track bugs clearly with proper reproduction steps
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure timely issue resolution
- Re-test fixes and ensure quality before release
Must Have Skills
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts & SDLC
- Knowledge of manual testing and black-box testing
- Familiarity with API testing fundamentals
- Strong attention to detail and logical thinking
Good To Have Skills
- Hands-on practice with Postman / Swagger
- Exposure to bug tracking tools (JIRA, ClickUp, etc.)
- Internship or academic project experience in testing
