- Perform UI/UX and copy/content testing to ensure layout accuracy, responsiveness, clarity, and consistency.
- Validate A/B testing flows and experiment-based functionalities.
- Document clear, detailed bug reports with reproduction steps, severity levels, and expected vs actual results.
- Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and relevant testing documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are met.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide inputs on testing scope, feasibility, and potential risks.
- Build automated test scripts using Playwright or Cypress (or any modern developer-friendly tool).
- Contribute to developing a stable, maintainable automation suite for critical user flows.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Software Tester / QA Engineer (Manual or Manual + Automation).
- Strong understanding of STLC, black-box testing, regression testing, exploratory testing, and UI/UX testing.
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools.
- Ability to write clear, structured, and reproducible bug reports and test cases.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and general browser behavior.
- Basic automation experience or willingness to learn Playwright or Cypress.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to think from the user's perspective.
- Good communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience testing AI or ML-driven products.
- Understanding of performance marketing, advertising workflows, or creative testing concepts.
- Experience with database validation (Postgres/MySQL) and API testing (Postman/Insomnia).
