Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
  • Build and enhance automation frameworks using TypeScript or JavaScript
  • Automate UI, functional, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
  • Execute automated test suites and analyze test results
  • Report, track, and verify defects using defect management tools
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
  • Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Requirements

  • 4-9years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Experience with API testing using Postman or REST Assured
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
