Software Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven Software Tester to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of our applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios

Perform manual testing of web and software applications

Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla

Conduct functional, regression, integration, and usability testing

Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve product quality

Perform API testing using tools like Postman

Validate bug fixes and ensure issue resolution

Maintain proper test documentation and reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

13 years of experience in Software Testing / QA

Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC

Hands-on experience in manual testing

Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla)

Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman / Swagger)

Understanding of web applications and client-server architecture

Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with automation testing tools (Selenium / Cypress)

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology

ISTQB certification (preferred)

Basic scripting knowledge (Java / Python)
