We are looking for a skilled
Software Tester with 3+ years of experience in both
manual and
automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing test cases, executing manual and automated tests, identifying defects, and ensuring the overall quality of software products.
Key Responsibilities
Manual Testing
- Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UI testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
Automation Testing
- Develop, update, and maintain automated test scripts for web/mobile applications.
- Work with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Execute automated regression test suites and report results.
- Optimize automation frameworks and enhance script performance.
General Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Provide clear and detailed defect reports and test execution reports.
- Ensure test coverage, traceability, and adherence to QA processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA methodologies and practices
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts (SDLC, STLC, bug lifecycle).
- Hands-on experience with Selenium or similar automation tools.
- Good knowledge of Java / Python / JavaScript (any one).
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
- Familiarity with SQL for database validation.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred)
