Job Description

Minimum required Education:
High School Diploma, Vocational Education/ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.

Your role:

u2022 Design, develop and execute functional, integration, regression, system and exploratory verification activities for embedded software features.

u2022 Analyze software requirements and architecture to develop verification strategies, comprehensive test cases, traceability and verification documentation.

u2022 Design, develop and maintain manual and automated verification solutions using Python, C#, or similar technologies.

u2022 Develop and maintain Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) scenarios and reusable automation assets to improve verification efficiency.

u2022 Execute verification using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups, simulators, engineering test stations and laboratory environments.

u2022 Establish, configure and continuously maintain verification environments, including device provisioning, firmware flashing, software installation and engineering environment configuration to support verification activities.

u2022 Perform regression testing and re-validation of software following defect fixes to ensure software stability, reliability and product quality.

u2022 Investigate software defects through debugging, log analysis and root cause analysis, documenting findings and collaborating with development teams to drive timely resolution.

u2022 Contribute to CI/CD-based automated regression execution, verification process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance engineering productivity.

u2022 Collaborate with Software, Firmware, Systems Engineering, Automation, DevOps and Quality teams while actively participating in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions and peer reviews.

You're the right fit if:

1. Experience

• 5+ years in embedded software verification/testing with experience leading complex verification activities.

2. Skills

• Strong expertise in embedded verification, automation, debugging, and verification strategy.

3. Education

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.

4. Core Expectations

• Provides technical leadership, mentors engineers, drives automation improvements, and collaborates effectively across teams.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companyu2019s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companyu2019s main facilities, generally at the customersu2019 or suppliersu2019 locations.
