Description
We are looking for a motivated Software Test Engineer to join our team. This role is suitable for freshers/entry-level candidates who are eager to start their careers in software testing and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure software quality.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not broken after changes.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team for improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
