Experience in manual and automation testing across Web, Mobile Apps, and APIs.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable validating data using SQL, monitoring application logs, executing comprehensive test plans, and contributing to test automation frameworks to ensure high-quality product releases.

Key Responsibilities

Perform manual testing for web applications, mobile apps, and backend services to validate functionality, usability, and integration across systems.

Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, test plans, and test reports for end-to-end validation.

Conduct API testing using tools like Postman/Rest Assured to verify requestresponse handling, business logic, and error scenarios.

Perform database validation and data integrity testing using SQL queries.

Review and monitor application/server logs to identify defects, trace failures, and support debugging efforts.

Execute cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experience.

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to clarify requirements and validate fixes.

Actively contribute to test automation efforts including scripting, execution, and maintenance of automated test suites.

Participate in regression testing, sanity testing, and release certification.

Identify, document, and track defects using common defect-tracking tools (JIRA or similar).

Support continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices. Required Skills Core Testing Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing (Functional, Regression, Smoke/Sanity, Integration testing).

Experience testing Web Applications, Mobile Apps (Android/iOS), and APIs.

Practical knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, Rest Assured, etc.).

Ability to write and execute SQL queries for backend data validation.

Experience with application log analysis and troubleshooting (Kibana, CloudWatch, Splunk, or similar tools).

Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies. Automation Skills

Hands-on experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar.

Knowledge of at least one programming language: Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Ability to create and maintain automation scripts and test frameworks.

Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Tools & Technologies.

Testing Tools: Postman, Rest Assured, Selenium/Appium/Playwright/Cypress

Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server

Bug Tracking: JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar

CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalent

Version Control: Git

Log Monitoring: Kibana, Splunk, CloudWatch, or similar Soft Skills
