Position: Software Test Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Experience Required: 2-10 Years
Mandatory Skill Requirements:
- 2+ years of strong hands-on experience in software, system, and hardware testing (manual & automation) for medical devices.
- Proficient in test automation using tools like Squish.
- Working knowledge of:
- Python, C++
- Test automation frameworks such as Squish, Google Test, Robot Framework, PyTest
- Experience in:
- Regression, integration, and system testing
- Test case design techniques, automation of test plans, test cases, test results, and defect reports
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, QA, systems engineers, and regulatory teams
Desirable Skill Requirements:
- Familiarity with requirement & verification management tools like ALM, JAMA
- Proficient in Git and version control practices
- Ability to work independently or in a team; self-motivated
- Experience collaborating with hardware and system teams for board bring-up and debugging
- Good to have:
- Medical domain knowledge
- Experience with real-time systems
- ISTQB certification or equivalent in software testing
