Role & responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance Oversight: Evaluate software quality assurance practices to ensure the integrity and stability of software products.
• Methodology Expertise: Implement and oversee software QA methodologies to optimize testing processes.
• Test Documentation: Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Black Box Testing Execution: Perform black box and other forms of testing to validate software functionality.
• Feedback on Documentation: Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical documents to provide timely feedback.
• Test Case Development: Create detailed and well-structured test cases based on project requirements.
• Testing Coordination: Estimate, prioritize, plan, and manage testing activities to ensure timely project execution.
• Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track bugs through rigorous testing processes, covering various testing stages.
• Process Enhancement: Develop and refine testing processes for new and existing products to ensure quality.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest in test strategies, bug life cycles, and STLC processes.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Agile/Scrum Proficiency: Possess a deep understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using software testing tools such as Postman for API testing and Fireflink
• Effective Communication: Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
• SQL Knowledge: Experienced in using SQL for data manipulation and testing purposes.
• JIRA Expertise: Familiar with JIRA for managing projects, tasks, and issues related to software bugs.
• Team Collaboration: Able to collaborate effectively within a team environment to meet testing goals.
