Job Description

Laminaar Aviation Infotech is looking for Software Test Engineer (Automation) to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
Test Automation Development:Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using scripting or programming languages (e g, Selenium, Appium, WebDriver) and testing frameworks
Create reusable and scalable automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing
Test Planning and Strategy:Collaborate with the testing team to plan and develop a comprehensive test automation strategy aligned with project requirements and timelines
Identify areas suitable for automation and prioritize test cases for automation
Script Execution and Analysis:Execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance
Analyze test results, log defects, and work with the development team to investigate and resolve issues
Integration and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to support continuous testing and deployment processes
Work on automation frameworks compatible with CI/CD pipelines (e g, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
Maintenance and Enhancements:Maintain, update, and enhance existing automated test suites to keep pace with changes in the software
Identify opportunities for framework enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability
Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA testers, and product managers, to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
Document test procedures, automated scripts, and testing processes for future reference
Skills and Qualifications : Proficiency in scripting or programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or others used for test automation
Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, etc)
Knowledge of software development methodologies and testing practices
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot automation failures
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team
