Experience: We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 4+ years of experience to own and drive test automation and quality engineering for our products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to build reliable, scalable, and maintainable automated test suites across our applications and services.

Core Experience Areas for a SDET:

Key Responsibilities

Automation Framework Development

• Design, develop, and maintain automation framework using Playwright and modern testing tools
• Develop reusable automation components, libraries and utilities
• Improve reliability, maintainability, and scalability of automation solutions

Test Automation

• Build automation tests across UI, API, Integration and end-to-end layers
• Develop automated smoke, regression, and release validation suites
• Collaborate with developers to improve automated test coverage

CI/CD Integration

• Integrate automated testing using into Azure DevOps pipeline
• Configure automated execution, reporting, and quality gates
• Support continuous testing and release automation initiatives

API & Microservices Testing

• Design and execute API automation strategies
• Validate microservices interaction and integration flows
• Develop automated validation for backend services and business workflows

AI Product Testing

• Support testing of AI and GenAI powered applications
• Build validation suites for AI output and data extraction accuracy
• Assist with benchmark datasets, prompt testing, and regression validations

Quality Engineering

• Contribute to testing standards and engineering best practices
• Support performance and reliability testing initiatives
• Support QA Manual processes, Participation in Scrum meetings etc.

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in testing, automation, or software development
• Strong programming skills .Net, Python, or TypeScript
• Handson automation with Playwright or equivalent framework
• Strong experience with API automation and integration testing
• Experience with REST architecture, API Testing

Preferred qualifications

• Experience leading quality engineering teams
• Hands on experience on Tools
• Dev Knowledge - MS Visual Studio
• Functional Testing -Playwright Pytest, playwright MCP server.
• Agentic Tools - Claude, Co-Pilot
• BDD - Cucumber, SpecFlow etc.
• API Testing - Postman, Rest Assured, SOAP UI etc.
• Programming Langages- .Net, Python etc.
• CI Tool - Azure DevOps
• RDBMS - Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL

• Establish measurable quality engineering standards
• Upskill existing QA team members into quality engineering roles
