Job Description
Accelya is looking for a Software Test Engineer to deliver large and complex projects for various airlines. This role ensures that projects adhere to the testing lifecycle, from requirement understanding and test planning to execution, defect management, and the delivery of a quality product.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to effective communication and collaboration within the program.
- Study the specifics of the product.
- Analyze the project.
- Plan work execution.
- Identify and address challenges encountered during program execution.
- Prescribe recommendations to improve the quality of the product.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
- Relevant IT experience of 3-5 years as a QA Engineer.
- Experience in Functional testing, API Testing (XML recommended), and Performance testing.
- Experience in the Airline Domain is preferred.
- Experience in using different tools like SOAPUI, Katalon, Jmeter.
- Driving the software quality assurance lifecycle within Agile processes.
- Experience in using JIRA for Test management and defect management
